The Wales coast path is among my favourite places to walk. I live on the West Shore of Llandudno, and the beach is easily accessible, offering a pedestrian route all the way to Anglesey, or until your energy runs out. That would probably take me all day and all night, but I have regularly walked as far as Conwy and back from my house. From my home to the RSPB reserve in Llandudno Junction takes about an hour. Conwy town is an extra 15 minutes or longer at a leisurely pace. Once there and refreshed, you can go on, as we did three weeks ago when we visited the Conwy Marina, past Bodlondeb Woods, and then round the dunes to Conwy Morfa beach. In my opinion this is one of the best beaches in Wales, with fine views of the Orme, a backdrop of Snowdonia's foothills and the Anglesey coast all in view. The tide was in or I'd have snapped the golden sands, it was also an overcast day, being February. The harbour was still fairly lively on the Marina, and the sunset and walk home again were incredible, as usual.
